Randall L. Goodden, is recognized as a leading expert on Product Safety and Product Liability Prevention by major corporations, leading insurance companies, international television news networks, professional associations, and numerous newspapers and other publications around the world. He has taught PS&LP to thousands of manufacturing executives worldwide at his seminars, as well as being brought in-house by some of the largest corporations.

Reducing the Risk of Product Liability for Manufacturers" (Wiley) which was just released in January 2009, and earlier “Product Liability Prevention – A Strategic Guide” (Quality Press), and his original book "Preventing & Handling Product Liability" (Marcel Dekker Publishing Co. NY) all of which have sold thousands of copies worldwide, and have even become course books at universities. In addition, he has authored other Legal reference and Quality books.

Unlike others who try to offer guidance in this field and take advantage of the opportunties, but have never held such positions within a manufacturing corporation, Mr. Goodden has been in manufacturing all his life and has personally done all that he writes about in his books and articles. For over 20 years he worked as the Corporate VP in charge of Quality, New Product Development, Field Services, and Litigation Management. He developed U.L. certified Product Reliability Testing Centers, spearheaded the development of high tech products, and led three manufacturing plants to ISO 9001 certification.
